COLUMBIA BARTENDING AGENCY BRAND WORK
The Columbia Bartending Agency is a mixology school and bartending agency based in Manhattan, New York. It caters to two very different target audiences— potential mixology students and clients hosting events across the tri-state area.
Primarily operating through word of mouth and referential marketing, when I joined I was asked to do a brand refresh that would allow for new channels of marketing without alienating its loyal customers. Since the logo was a fixed entity, I used the Times New Roman, black and white sans serif logo as a launching off point for my brand design.
I introduced Mermaid as a primary font that echoed the logo while adding a bit of a modern twist, then introduced a secondary color palette to complement the existing black and white color focus. The original brand refresh has come alive through various marketing materials such as a brand book, a website redesign, client emails, and physical menus.
